Let kindness and care live on
Together, we can ensure the expert care of Sue Ryder Nurses, doctors and bereavement specialists lives on, helping families in the future receive vital support in the toughest of times.
As we shared in our recent letter, Helen’s husband Dan received end-of-life care at a Sue Ryder Hospice in July 2018. He was 34 when he died, and their son George was just nine months old. Helen remembers the kindness and care of the Sue Ryder team, and how it helped her in the toughest hours of her life.
Helen's story
We could be a family again
"When it was first suggested that Dan go to the hospice, I thought, how on earth will I afford that? I had no idea it was funded by donations.
"The Sue Ryder staff became like our family for two weeks. It was their kindness and care that made the difference."
Kindness and care is the legacy you can leave behind
The difference you will make
Care at Sue Ryder is given without any cost, and this is only possible thanks to the wonderful kindness of our supporters.
Because of the generosity of people who leave a gift in their Will for the future of our work, more families like Helen and George will get the kindness and care they need – now and in the future.
