By purchasing a ticket / booking a table you confirm that you understand and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
The Sue Ryder – Leckhampton Court Hospice Winter Ball is an event aimed to raise funds for the hospice and will take place on Friday 29th November 2024 at Manor by the Lake, Cheltenham.
- The Contract
A contract shall be deemed to be made under the Terms and Conditions set out herein between Sue Ryder and you when you confirm your requirements in writing and Sue Ryder has accepted such booking. Both you and those on whose behalf you are booking shall act in compliance with, and be legally bound by, these Terms and Conditions at all times. If you are buying tickets on behalf of other people it is your responsibility to draw these terms and conditions to their attention.
By including your details you are consenting for us to use them for the purpose of this event. For further information about how we use and protect your information please refer to our privacy policy.
2. Payment / Cancellations / Terms
a) The ticket / table price payable is non-transferable, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
b) Full pre-payment required at the time of booking, if paying by invoice payment must be received within 7 days upon receipt of invoice.
c) All tickets offered are subject to availability. All prices exclude VAT.
d) Where the event is cancelled or rescheduled by us due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be entitled to claim a refund of the ticket price from us in accordance with this clause. Any refunds shall only be made to the person / company who purchased the tickets and, when possible, be made using the same method as was used to purchase the tickets. Sue Ryder’s liability shall be limited to repayment of the ticket price in such circumstances.
e) Sue Ryder reserves the right to alter the event where this becomes necessary as a result of circumstances beyond Sue Ryder’s reasonable control.
f) All cancellations must be made in writing and are effective from the date they are received by Sue Ryder.
g) If you are unable to attend the Event through no fault of Sue Ryder, we are unable to issue a refund.
3. Limitation of Liability
Sue Ryder accepts no liability for any injuries sustained by any person except where such injury is caused by the negligence of Sue Ryder. Sue Ryder accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss of or damage to participant’s property which may occur in the course of the event.
4. Attending the event
Sue Ryder reserves the right to refuse any entry or eject any person where Sue Ryder believes it necessary or appropriate to do so. Sue Ryder’s decision shall be final.
Event Photography
Images may be taken during the event using film photography, digital photograph, video or other media and may be used on our website and in promotional material in any medium, including Sue Ryder internal communications, local and/or national media, online media, leaflets and posters, web pages, emails/mailings and social media postings. By taking part in the event or attending the event you are deemed to have given your consent, unless you notify Sue Ryder of any express objections. In the event that you raise any objections to the use of any image in which you are featured after the event Sue Ryder will remove that image from its website and refrain from any future use of it, but cannot undertake to remove from circulation any printed materials already in use.
Sue Ryder acknowledges its responsibilities towards children and younger people and will, wherever possible and practicable, refrain from capturing or using their images without express consent from a parent/guardian.
Age restrictions
All persons aged under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the event. The parent or guardian shall be responsible for supervising the underage guest throughout the event and for ensuring that they do not unlawfully consume alcohol.
5. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions set out the entire agreement between Sue Ryder and You. They supersede any prior proposal, assurance, agreement, understanding or arrangement, whether oral or written, between Sue Ryder and You in relation to the specific bookings to which they apply. You do not rely on any statement assurance or understanding, which is not set out herein.
6. Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and both Sue Ryder and You irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
