About the event

Take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and support Sue Ryder. The walk is a challenging 24.5 miles and 5000ft ascent to be tackled by competent walkers aiming to complete the challenge within 12 hours.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, the walk ascends the three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent. You will be walking in groups led by qualified Mountain Leaders throughout the route to assist you with any help you may need.

What’s included when you take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks?

  • Refreshment stops on route and at the finish to celebrate your achievement
  • On-route expert mountain guides
  • A welcome pack including kit list requirements and Sue Ryder t-shirt
  • Support from your local hospice team with fundraising support, before and after the event

What you need to know

Event day registration and safety briefing are between 6.00am and 6.30am.

The £40 registration fee covers the cost of this event and so we ask that each member of the team raises a minimum of £250 for either Wheatfields or Manorlands Hospice.

Your local fundraising team will be on-hand to help you every step of the way. We can provide you with collection buckets, banners, bunting and more to help you with your fundraising.

The minimum age for the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is 14 years old. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
