Arranging a funeral collection

Asking for donations to be made at a funeral or memorial service, or arranging a funeral collection online through a tribute page, are meaningful ways to honour a loved one’s memory while supporting Sue Ryder’s expert care.

Thank you for thinking of supporting Sue Ryder’s work in memory of your loved one. Collecting donations in their memory is a special way to celebrate their life and all that they meant to you.

Your collection will help us continue our work providing compassionate, expert end-of-life care and grief support to families.

We are also here for you, your family and friends, should you need support at any time.

A long-lasting way to remember someone special. It is a place to collect online donations in their memory, now and in the future, as well as sharing memories, music and lighting candles.

Requesting a Funeral collection pack

You can request a free funeral collection pack to be posted to you. This will include a collection box to receive donations, with space for you to add personal information such as a photo of your loved one or the order of service.

We will also enclose Gift Aid envelopes, making it easy for friends and family to let us know if their donation is eligible for Gift Aid, increasing the value of each donation at no extra cost to you.

Please contact your local Sue Ryder hospice to request a pack:

Alternatively, you can contact our Supporter Care team on 020 7554 5985 or email supportercare@suerydercare.org

Please provide your full contact details, the name of the person you are remembering and the number of envelopes you’d like.

Funeral directors

If you’d like to ask a funeral director to help you collect donations, they are usually happy to help with this. You can provide them with our contact details and we’ll be happy to assist them if they need any help from us.

Please send donations to:

Sue Ryder
183 Eversholt Street
London
NW1 1BU

Or alternatively, you can send these directly to your local hospice.
