Meet our team

Emma Vasey is our Head of Influencing and Engagement, leading the charity’s policy and public affairs activity, supporting our strategic goals to influence models of care and to speak up for people who are dying and grieving.

Leanne Creighton is our Senior Influencing Manager, overseeing our public affairs and campaigning activity.

Nina Trendell is our Policy Manager, she works with our Head of Influencing and Engagement to set and deliver the strategy for policy prioritisation and creation.

John Kemp is our Stakeholder Engagement Officer, he engages with key local stakeholders across Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) in England. These stakeholders include ICS Chief Executives and Chairs of the Integrated Care Board, other NHS health leaders, local Councillors and organisations like Healthwatch.

Sophie Meagher is our Policy and Public Affairs Officer, supporting the delivery of Sue Ryder’s strategic goals to influence policy on palliative care and bereavement support.
