Supporting our expert care
Volunteers play a huge part in supporting the delivery of our services.
Whether they’re running a marathon to raise funds for our centres or comforting a patient during the last hours of their life, volunteers make it possible for Sue Ryder to do all the amazing things we do.
Here are just a few examples of the types of volunteer roles we offer across our centres:
- gardening and maintenance
- spiritual care support
- befriending
- driver
- reception and admin
- complementary therapies
- hospice biographer.
